Saturday, December 2 |10 AM – 1 PM | Firefighters Toy Drive, Sobeys High Street
In support of our local fire station, we will hosted a Firefighter’s Toy Drive. Toys had to be new and unwrapped for children ages 0–12. The target age groups for toys were ages 0-3 and 9-12 years of age. The Calgary Firefighters Toy Association is a volunteer-led organization that accepts new and unwrapped toy donations for their annual Community Kids Christmas event.

A couple of firefighters from McKenzie Towne Station 30 stopped by the toy drive on their way back to the station.

The picture below was taken to show the outcome from our toy drive held on December 2nd. Along with the numerous donated toys, we also received donations of clothes, 18 hand knitted baby blankets, 2 Ultimate Game passes, and several stuffed toys.
